Climbing
One of the most beautifull spots for rock climbing in the Dominican Republic lies just next to Las Galeras at Playa Fronton. A rock wall over 300 feet high, which is located right behind a small beach. The wall offers various possibilities and difficulty levels for climbers. Unfortunately, it is still not developed.
Years ago, some climbers put some bolts in the wall, but these are not safe anymore as they have not been maintained. There are plans to develop the spot and establish some routes by mid 2010.
El Cabito would be pleased to welcome climbers who would like to climb and help develop the area.
